A memorial celebration for prof. Sam McFarland, our mentor, and dear friend will take place at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 15, 2022 with visitation with family from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Chandler Chapel at Western Kentucky University.
A WKU colleague, dr. Aaron Wichman who knew Sam well will speak concerning Sam's work.
The family requests that any memorial donations be sent to Human Rights Watch (www.hrw.org), Habitat for Humanity (www.habitat.org), or Doctors Without Borders (www.doctorswithoutborders.org).
Arrangements have been entrusted to J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.
